Printable sheet
Freezer temperature log
A week of freezer checks on one sheet, with the frozen-storage target printed at the top. Same layout as the cooler sheet, so a kitchen running both is filling in one form, twice.
The sheet
What is on it
- Target
- Printed as 0°F or below — the common US default for frozen storage.
- Header
- Unit or location, the week beginning, and who is filling it in.
- Grid
- A row per day, three checks across: the time, the temperature, and initials for each.
- Corrective
- Four ruled rows: date, time, unit, the reading, what you did, initials.
Using it
How to keep it
- Print one per freezer, including the chest freezer nobody opens. The one that is never checked is the one that fails quietly.
- A freezer that has been opened, restocked or defrosted reads high for an hour afterwards. Write that in the notes rather than re-taking the reading until it looks right.
- Frozen food that has partly thawed is a corrective action, not a blank. Write down what you did with it.

The same log, without the clipboard
The app treats a freezer as its own unit with its own range and its own check times, and the monthly PDF gives it a page of its own.
