Free log sheets

Blank temperature and cooling logs for a restaurant kitchen. Print them, tape them to the unit, fill them in with a pen. No email, no sign-up, and nothing to buy.

They are drawn by the same code that lays out ChillCheck's monthly export, so a kitchen that moves to the app later is filling in a form it already knows.

The sheets

Five, and no more than five

One per piece of paper that is actually different. Sheets for things the app does not keep — sanitiser tests, cleaning rotas — are not here, and will not be.

Free restaurant temperature log template
A blank sheet for any refrigeration or hot-holding unit: seven days, three checks a day, and a block at the bottom for anything that came out of range. Write your own target at the top — the defaults printed on our other sheets are the US Food Code numbers, and yours may differ.
Walk-in cooler temperature log
The same sheet as the blank template, with the cold-holding target already printed on it. Use it for a walk-in, a reach-in, a prep table or any refrigerator — they are all the same piece of paper.
Freezer temperature log
A week of freezer checks on one sheet, with the frozen-storage target printed at the top. Same layout as the cooler sheet, so a kitchen running both is filling in one form, twice.
Hot holding temperature log
For steam tables, holding cabinets and soup wells — the units where a reading below the target is a decision to make now, not at the end of the shift.
Cooling log sheet
Two-stage cooling, one landscape sheet, nine batches. Both deadlines are counted from the start time, which is the part a hand-written log usually gets wrong.

ChillCheck is a record-keeping tool. It does not determine whether food is safe to serve, and it does not certify compliance with any regulation. Always follow your local health department's requirements.
